Through Embodied Weaving, Rachael shares sewing training rooted in intention, presence, and reverence for the Earth—transforming simple cloth into natural clothing and everyday ritual. Natural dyeing becomes part of this practice, yielding vibrant hues that remind us of life’s richness and the beauty of handmade, intentional living.
Working with natural dyes reignites our relationship with nature. The deep rich colors of the dye baths have an inner glow that cheers the heart. Wild scents waft through the air, as our hands fold, clamp, tie, rinse, wring, hang, unfold, and work the fabric.

Indigo Revival
Embodied Weaving co-created Indigo Revival with Rachael Kinsey of Crafted Outpost. Indigo Revival came about as an experiment to bring the natural dyes into market spaces, educational programs, and craft camp. It was for our mutual love of color, design, and plant life that haas made Indigo Revival a staple.
NATURAL DYE WORKSHOPS + CLOTHING
Indigo Revival is all about reconnecting to our natural world, full of hidden color, teased out through alchemical processes. While we work with many natural dye plants, indigo is special for its deep rich blue, versatile in the shades it produces. Indigo acts as a kind of shield for the fiber, actually making a textile live longer.
We take old clothes and make them new again, thus the “Revival” piece to our brand. We also create fresh garments, working together to achieve beautiful simplicity, which allows the dye to speak for itself.

Rachael offers private lessons in sewing, natural dyeing, and garment-making—interweaving practical technique with ritual, intuition, and storytelling. Her one-on-one guidance supports students of all levels in slowing down, listening closely, and stitching a deeper connection to self and Earth.
